Egg Fried Rice

This is my own recipe I’ve made up over the years. You can add any vegetables you want; I just used what was in my apartment.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • White or Jasmine rice
  • Bell pepper, minced
  • Onion, min ed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. Sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Teriyaki sauce

Directions:

Prepare rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, mince the bell peppers and onions, then toss in an piled pan on medium heat to sweat.

Pour the cracked egg over the peppers and onions. Continually mix until the eggs are scrambled.

Once rice is cooked, combined in a large bowl the eggs and vegetables as well as the rest of the ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

This egg fried rice goes great as a side with any Asian meal.
