This recipe takes a bit longer to bake than regular brownies because the Nutella makes it so gooey.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 40-50 Minutes
Cook To: 350° F
Servings: 8-12 people
- 2/3 c. Nutella
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Combine Nutella, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Make sure the melted butter isn’t hot so you don’t cook the eggs. Mix until smooth.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Combine until smooth. Heads up: this can get real tough and it’ll feel like a workout.
Spray baking pan so it doesn’t stick and pour in batter. Sprinkle on top pecans.
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. At 30 minutes, stick a toothpick in the center of the pan. If it comes out clean, it’s ready. If it comes out with some batter, keep it in for another 10 minutes and cover with tinfoil so you don’t burn the top while the center continues baking. Check again with the toothpick, and repeat until the toothpick comes back clean.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before cutting into bite sizes and serving.
Feel free to drizzle chocolate syrup and/or caramel.
